Lol that's really funny cause my name actually
came from a Cabbage Patch Doll named "Shalett Lynn"
My grandma saw it in the store while my mom was still carrying me
and decided it would be my name. Kinda weird lol.

To marriage or not to marriage

BE SINGLE. 50% of marriages end in divorce. But consider how many are unhappy but can not divorce because of financials or children and you will have a pretty high number. Losers will tell you "but but but that means another 50% make it". BULLsh*t. Consider this. If you drive a car and, say, you have 2 accidents in one year, those must be very scary, right? well...they represent a bit over 0.5% of your year...now imagine if I tell you there is a 50% chance to have an accident...you would never want to drive, right? Same with marriages. IT IS a thing of the past. I am 31, never married, and I can't be happier. I have relationships and if they make me unhappy, I change the girl...is THAT SIMPLE. NEVER EVER GET MARRIED. DON'T BE A LOSER. [lenahan]

I think it varies so much in each person and each couple. I don't think you need that piece of paper and I do not think that paper keeps the couple together, as many girls assume. If the people are going to be together, I really do not think marriage matters either way. The tax benefits are great, however. lol I think by marrying you are taking an oath before "God" and everyone to remain together and faithful. Not something to jump into. Some people have no emphasis on marriage, so to them marriage means nothing. SO why bother with it if it means nothing? [thatpotsmokinghippy]

You are so right. You don't know who your TRUE friends are until it gets ROUGH. For your friends that are exceeding in life but won't be there in your time of need, they are just seasonal friends. They come for only a season. They were put in your life to teach you something. I don't know, maybe they helped you excel in school or whatever, you were suppose to learn something from them and MOVE ON. Now the friends you have that are there through thick and thin, you NEED to keep them around. They don't care that you on the Honor roll {{Yea they are happy for you}} but they just want to make sure that you ARE happy AND has your back NO MATTER what.[InquistiveOne7]
